How to setup voicemail in Teams

PURPOSE

This document will outline the steps to be taken when setting up voicemail greeting in Microsoft Teams.

PROCESS

Open Microsoft Teams and click Calls.
Click the drop-down arrow next to Don’t Forward on the bottom left and click More Settings.
Under Voicemail, click Configure voicemail.
Then, click Record a greeting.
The voicemail dial pad will open.
Press 2 to open the Greeting Menu.
Press 1 to start recording the greeting.
Press # to finish recording the greeting.

Microsoft Teams will play the recorded greeting. Press one of the numbers to do the following:
1. Press 1: To accept the recording.
2. Press 2: To re-record.
3. Press 3: To use the default greeting.
4. Press the * key: To cancel the process.
To complete the process, press Leave or press the * key.
