MS TEAMS - HOW TO CHANGE FILE OPEN PREFERENCE
PURPOSE
By default, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files opened in Microsoft Teams will do so within the Teams environment. This document explains how to change your settings to open these files within their desktop app.
PROCESS
- Click the three dots to the left of your profile image and select “Settings”.
- Click the Files tab. Select “Desktop app” from the menu to open Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files in their desktop app.
