How to connect the ILO card on HP Servers

PURPOSE

In the event of an issue with the server, Integrated Lights-Out (ILO) proactively notifies Mister IT, allowing Mister IT to troubleshoot it remotely, requiring minimal interaction with the on-site team.

PROCESS

Identify the Server in the IT Cabinet.
On the back of the Server, plug in the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the bottom left corner.
Follow the steps below depending on which Network Switch you have:
1. If you have a Dell Network Switch (black), plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into Port 32.
2. If you have a Cisco Meraki Switch (gray), plug the Ethernet cable into Port 34.
