How to configure BFT gate from closing on vehicles
PURPOSE
The gate arm is closing on cars. A power surge may have caused the gate board to reset to its default mode. In the default mode, the gate does not communicate with the magnetic coil that normally detects a car at the gate. Instead, the gate arm automatically closes after being up for 10 seconds.
PROCESS
- To reprogram the Gate Board unlock and remove the front gate panel.
- You will then be able to remove the metal top and the blue plastic BFT cover.
- The gate board sits directly on top of the gate.
- On the gate board, look for three small buttons next to a display screen.
- You will need to push these buttons in the exact sequence shown below to reprogram the gate board.
- These buttons are not labeled on the board, so you will need to refer to the image below for help.
-
TIP: A best practice is to have a helper read the directions out loud while you push the buttons.
- Press “okay” twice and wait for the display to change.
- Press “okay” again.
- Press “okay” again. The display should change to read “Paran”.
- Press “down”. The display should change to read “Logica”.
- Press “okay”. The display should change to read “tcA”.
- Press “okay”. The display should change to read “001”.
- Press “down”. The display should change to read “000”.
- Press “okay”. The display should change to read “PrG”.
- Press “okay”. The display will change back to “tcA” in a few seconds.
- Press BOTH “up” and “down” together TWO times.
- The display will change to read “cLS”. The gate board has been successfully reprogrammed.
