How to configure BFT gate from closing on vehicles

PURPOSE

The gate arm is closing on cars. A power surge may have caused the gate board to reset to its default mode. In the default mode, the gate does not communicate with the magnetic coil that normally detects a car at the gate. Instead, the gate arm automatically closes after being up for 10 seconds.

PROCESS

To reprogram the Gate Board unlock and remove the front gate panel.
You will then be able to remove the metal top and the blue plastic BFT cover.
The gate board sits directly on top of the gate.
On the gate board, look for three small buttons next to a display screen.
You will need to push these buttons in the exact sequence shown below to reprogram the gate board.
These buttons are not labeled on the board, so you will need to refer to the image below for help.
- TIP: A best practice is to have a helper read the directions out loud while you push the buttons.
Press “okay” twice and wait for the display to change.
Press “okay” again.
Press “okay” again. The display should change to read “Paran”.
Press “down”. The display should change to read “Logica”.
Press “okay”. The display should change to read “tcA”.
Press “okay”. The display should change to read “001”.
Press “down”. The display should change to read “000”.
Press “okay”. The display should change to read “PrG”.
Press “okay”. The display will change back to “tcA” in a few seconds.
Press BOTH “up” and “down” together TWO times.
The display will change to read “cLS”. The gate board has been successfully reprogrammed.
